A sister magazine of Weekly Young Magazine. Started in 1999 as Bessatsu Young Magazine (別冊ヤングマガジン), which was a bi-monthly publication which used to be published between the 15-20 of every even month, but with the release of Bessatsu Young Magazine number 36 on October 16th, 2009, it was the last to be put on the market. On December 9th, 2009 the magazine got renewed, it became a monthly publication, and its title was changed to "Monthly Young Magazine" (月刊ヤングマガジン). The release date of Monthly Young Magazine is the 2nd Wednesday every month.
