The magazine started on January 1st, 1977 as a quarterly publication. On the May 1978 issue it was turned into a bi-monthly publication (released on odd months). On the May 1980 issue it was turned to a monthly publication. With the release of the June 2000 issue its release was changed from the 24th to the 8th of every month. A monthly adult romance manga magazine that's described as a monthly shoujo manga magazine that's being read by women in their twenties. Currently women that are around 20 years old are assumed to be the target readership.
